Disciples Church was started in 2011 with the gathering of a core group of people who were keen to see a new church established in Springfield. Weekly services commenced the following year, and by God's grace we have seen continued growth in numbers every year since.
We are a member congregation of the Fellowship of Independent Evangelical Churches (our denomination) and we participate in the Acts 29 Church Planting Network to see new churches planted here in Australia and around the world.
We are Reformed in our theology, contemporary in our Sunday services, and serious about following Jesus faithfully.
Our vision for the church corporately is to significantly impact the Greater Springfield area with the transforming grace of the Gospel.
Our vision for each member of the church is that they will:

+ love God enough to obey Him
+ love people enough to serve them
+ trust the Father enough to risk everything to advance His Kingdom
+ trust the Holy Spirit enough to let Him change them and use them for His glory
Jesus said to go and make disciples of all the nations, baptising them and teaching them to obey all His commands, so our mission is to:
In reality, every member of Disciples Church is on the team. And as such, we are all led by Jesus in our personal lives, and also in our corporate life as a church. At the same time, we appoint suitably qualified people to serve in various roles within the life of the church, so that we can co-ordinate our mission, maintain accountability, and release people to use their gifts for God’s glory.
