We invite you to join us this Sunday for a corporate worship service at either 8:30am or 10:30am.
Our regular services usually run for under 90 minutes and our children's ministries, Creche and DC Kids, operate during the sermon time.
Our church building is located at the Spring Lake Village shopping centre, 31 Springfield Lakes Boulevard, Springfield Lakes. We are at the opposite end to the IGA Supermarket. It is a comfortable, air-conditioned facility with plenty of available parking right outside.
At DC, we have a large number of families with young children. During our Sunday morning services we have Creche (Ages 1-3) and DC Kids (Kindy-Grade 6), which run during the sermon time. We have electronic sign-in and sign-out to keep track of everyone - if you are attending for the first time, it is helpful to enrol your child at the Connect Desk before the service starts.
We generally begin our services by singing a few worship songs together. We usually stand together to sing, and the words of the songs will be projected on screens at the front.
During the service there will be a time of prayer, bible readings, testimonials & reports, and on the first Sunday of every month we will celebrate the Lord’s Supper (Communion) together. A key part of the service is the sermon, where we hear from God’s Word. The sermon will last for around 40-45 minutes. The whole service generally runs for less than 90 minutes.
There is a half hour change-over time between our two services where we enjoy fellowship with those who have just attended the 8:30 service, and those arriving for the 10:30 service.
